次世代スマートフットウェア「Project: OR-1」のプロダクトデザインを担当しました。

このシューズの最大の特徴は、“インドサイの装甲”を彷彿とさせるレイヤード構造。身体を守りながらも躍動を許すそのフォルムから着想を得て、しなやかさと堅牢さを併せ持つ外装デザインを追求しました。

アッパーには継ぎ目の少ない一体成型的な造形を採用し、シームレスかつ未来感のあるシルエットを実現。ソール部に内蔵されたセンサーやLED発光ユニットは、歩行を“データに変える”インターフェースとしての存在感を放ちます。

「Project: OR-1」は、**靴という枠を超え、身体と社会、テクノロジーをつなぐ“ハブ”**となる存在を目指しています。exiii designはこのプロジェクトにおいて、機能と象徴性の両立をデザインで具現化しました。

I was in charge of product design for the next generation smart footwear “Project: OR-1”.

The most distinctive feature of this shoe is its layered construction reminiscent of “Indian rhino armor. Inspired by this form, which protects the body while allowing it to move, we pursued an exterior design that is both flexible and robust.

The upper adopts a seamless one-piece molding, achieving a seamless silhouette with a futuristic feel. The sensor and LED light-emitting unit built into the sole creates a sense of presence as an interface that “turns walking into data.
